This first pressing CD is housed in a 3-panel digipak with a folding 5-panel/10-page booklet (some copies also included a plastic protective sleeve). The back cover has "Limited Edition" printed in bottom left corner around small megaphone symbol.

The first copies of 'The New Normal' 3-panel digipak, which were sold through the retailer JB Hi-Fi, included an enhanced 'Media Disc'.

The barcode orientation on the rear of the 3-panel digipak is different to the reissue of 'The New Normal' (distributed by Universal Music Australia), which is rotated 90-degrees clockwise.

The digipak and booklet artwork have a gloss finish over the images/objects set onto a matte cardstock. The album name written in braille on spine and front cover is raised/embossed like regular braille.
