This is an extremely rare Coil collectible produced as a private edition in July 2002, when Jhonn Balance himself individually hand-painted a series of double album covers to accompany the purple vinyl 3-sided album version of Musick to Play in the Dark Vol. 2. As with certain other rare versions of this release, the white centre labels are unmarked, and the fourth side of the double album bears an illustration etched onto a grooveless vinyl surface. The painting by Balance covers the front of a white card gatefold. The remaining gatefold cover is blank, except for three inscriptions in pencil at the bottom edge of the inside left cover, by Balance:
