"The songs on this album were recorded in Baltimore, Maryland by J. Robbins at The Magpie Cage in October, 2021 and February, 2023. Specifically, the songs "March 3rd" The Persuader, "Caught Me Slippin'" Johannes Heil and "Flying Circus" [B5] were recorded during the October session and the rest were recorded during the February session. Additional tracks (vocals, guitar, and percussion) were recorded by Ryan at this home in Alexandria (and in the case of "Before" [B3], at Melissa's home in DC). Ryan worked on the mixes for a while until he hit an insurmountable sonic wall, and then the whole band went back to Magpie to finalize all the mixes with J. He was a massive help throughout the whole process, and we really can't thank him enough."

Track A4, 'Caught Me Slippin' was first issued on July 12th 2022 as a single-sided flexi-disc 'An Underwater Knife-Fight (Minus The Knife)...'
