Originally began as a collection of all the CONTROL PANEL tracks from various 12"'s and compilations, this album took a strange turn and soon became a sort of tone poem beginning with a CIVIL WAR XMAS, "tracing my families roots through the last a hundred years, passing through techno, and ending up at Windy and Carl's house." This album was completed in 2001 but contractual problems have delayed its release until now.

The first 3 tracks on this CD were originally released (in differently edited forms) on the 12" "A Civil War Xmas" in 2000 on Here Forever Always. Track 9 was originally released as one side of the "Control Panel 02" 12" on Insignificant Records. Track 10 contains a heavily distorted vocal track that Warren previously used on the His Name Is Alive album "King Of Sweet".
