Album Info
Release Date: 1990Label: Subterranean Records
Includes 3 tracks not on LPA1: A remixed and extended version of the opening piece from the out-of-print LP "Knees And Bones." Recorded in 1983, only 500 copies were made.
A2: A remixed version of a track from the limited edition out-of-print cassette "Swallowing Scrap Metal." This was recorded in 1983 and represents our first experiment in pure sound.
A3: Recorded in 1983, this was an early experiment in combining found sound, tape, feedback and saturation-level electronic din. The sources were played at low volume, but recorded at maximum level, thus the extreme distortion. The featured Dame shall remain nameless.
A4: A remixed, re-edited montage, some of which appeared in very different form on the "Curd" LP, recorded in 1985. Out of print.
B1: A remixed, extended version of a track from the "Head Crack" LP, recorded in 1985. Out of print.
B2: Unreleased, recorded in 1984.
B3: Unreleased, recorded in 1987.
B4: This is unreleased music from the film "Antigone," recorded in 1988.
B6: A portion of this 1984 piece appeared on the first volume of the Dry Lungs series, hacked to shit, with grooves so tight the needle would slide. This is the entire piece—hold your ears!
B7: Initially appearing on the "Core" LP, this 1986 track has been remixed and re-edited (for better or worse). Although it has no place on such a dour release as this, the song has sentimental value and seems a fittingly absurd ending.
Produced in New York City during 1988 and 1989.
