Compilation of recordings made and released during 1937, 1938 and 1939 on shellac records. Top opening black-white-ochre cover with left and right edge stitched with brown thread on front and white one on back cover, a creature with helmet, piano body and spears illustration signed by "VO" initials on front cover and with gold in black centre labels.
Catalogue number 86 039 LPB appears on front and twice on back cover, the other one, LPB 86 039, on centre labels where the first part, LPB, is separated from the rest, 86 039, with centre hole.

All tracks except A4 and B3 are instrumentals.
Track A2 is an instrumental cover of the blues first performed 1928 by its author Leroy Carr originally named "How Long - How Long Blues".
Track B1 is credited only to Waller on back cover as well track B2 only to Basie, the other credits taken from centre label.
