According to the liner notes, Lester Young and Jo Jones were drafted into the miltary service two days after the September 11,1944 session. They are possibly present on both tracks 18 & 20 but unconfirmed since no date is given for either one.

Track 18 is missing from the track lists on the tray card and CD, as well as the liner notes. According to the Jubilee Shows Discography at the University of Colorado, Thelma Carpenter recorded a version of "Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me" with Count Basie and His Orchestra in November 1943 for an AFRS Jubilee Shows transcription.
A later printing of this CD corrects the track omission.
A compilation of several different AFRS Jubilee recording sessions.
