The Salt Water Summers EP by Count Viglione

Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1976

Label: Varulven

First version, first pressing [this]:
• Dark maroon labels and GRT's double pressing rings at 2" and 1.125".
• Issued without a printed sleeve but has printed photos mounted on a plain sleeve front and back.
• The original 4-page stapled 8.5” x 11" insert has typed (not typeset) text and features two photos of a clean-shaven Joe Viglione on the front: one with a Spiderman T-shirt and one with his cape and Stratocaster. Page 3 includes performer credits and states "This is a supplement to VARULVEN MAGAZINE / all rights reserved!"
• Two postcard-sized inserts have "Photography by Jeanna Archibald" stamped on the back.

The labels credit The Count/Joseph Allen Viglione: no further title is shown, but all versions of this release have traditionally been known as "The Salt Water Summers EP".

The "9" in the runouts is inverted. (It has a doubled ascender which indicates that it is not a "6".)
