"Unto whom it is recorded shall it also have been hidden from"

Booklet reads:
"Formed by George Miller, B.R.Wallers & Simon Stephens in Edinburgh 1993.
Joined by Alan Crichton who was living where the band practised, namely
Wallers' bedroom. Made first recordings at Crichton's next residence, an Art
gallery owned by critic Andrew Brown who 'managed' Crichton's band "The
Male Nurse". Sent tape to Crypt Records Hamburg, who released "Anytime,
Cowboy" & "No. 1 Man" from it . Went to London at Crypt's expense to record al-
bum "The Pastoral-not rustic-World of The Country Teasers".Invoked 'Eck' King
and 'Richard' Greenan for a tour of Europe to promote album & support Crypt
group The Oblivians, from Memphis. Recorded album "Feeling Good About
Bad Thoughts" upon return to Edinburgh, June 1995. Went to Europe to pro-
mote its eventual release in winter 1996. Dear Roger i am sorry for dragging
you accross frozen shit and contributing to your mental breakdown. The group
was broken by the tour and other factors. It languished throughout 1997.
This compact disc celebrated the extraordinary guitar playing of Alan Crich-
ton, Eck's uniquely powerful drumming, the revolution in rhythm guitar which
R.Greenan harbinged, and a chapter in the group's history which is closed."

"Thanks: Mrs Z·A·Wallers (Layout), L·B Watson (DAT).
This CD looks + sounds like what it is and how
much it cost to assemble. B·R·W Feb. 18 98
Also thanks to M·Webber (DAT use). + W·Willis."
