Cousin Sharky is the experimental, electronic noise project of East London musician John O’Leary.

Described as ‘sub-dimensional bass’, ‘street electronics’ and ‘heavy industry’, Cousin Sharky constructs mostly rhythmically heavy, visceral, but occasionally ambient bass driven work, constructed using samples, drum machines and analog synthesisers run through bitcrushers, delays and overdrive.

Although vocally consisting of truncated, pitch-shifted samples and minimal lyrics, the work draws heavily from subjects such as dimensionality and metaphysics, which are reflected in the titles.
