(From back cover...)→ "This recording is a collection of only a few of the many spirituals which the choir has sung since its organization in 1957. These songs are among the most popular selections which the choir has sung in Austria, Germany, Russia, Italy, and the United States. The Choir has toured well over 60,000 miles, from Moscow to Washington, bringing the sounds of young voices to thousands of people and it is our hope with this album to further this objective."
→ The cover of this album is a view overlooking Obersalzburg in the Bovarian Alps on the German-Austrian border. The winding road through the mountain brought the Choir to Berchtesgaden, the Eagle's Nest, and the ruins of the homesite of Field Marshall Hermann Goering. This beautiful panorama was chosen by the Choir as a remembrance of the April 1975 concert tour of Salzburg and Munich.
