The second EP by Curtains, This Is The Long Lie In blends guitars and electronica throughout, from energetic pop to brooding calm. The back of the booklet carries an extended note referring to the Italian novelist Italo Calvino and also the quote "... We're a band and we're outside..." which refers to a line used by Dash Tall to gain access 4AD Records.
