For this new trio album, entitled “Inner Ways” and produced by the L'horizon Violet label, we collaborated with singer Caloé, & Cuban jazz saxophonist Ricardo Izquierdo.There are 7 compositions and 3 songs, an arrangement of Joni Mitchell's Circle Game, a version of Gerhard Winkler's magnificent waltz, “Answer Me My Love”, and a bolero by Bebo Valdès, “A Mayra”. 10 tracks that form an album that reflects my life as a musician.
10 tracks that reflect my inner world, between jazz, Cuban music and American music standards. Reflections of my musical loves and encounters.
I've been on stage here, in Europe and around the world for over 20 years, playing both classical and improvised music, with over 1,200 concerts since 1998.

Damien Groleau begins his concerts as a solo pianist, until the day, not so long ago, when the other two join him. The rhythm section sticks to the pianist's pieces. His world becomes that of the others. Their understanding is obvious. They play the classics as well as their own compositions.
