The compilation contains recordings by Thomas W. Kuhn from 1986 till 1992. The first side is more experimental music under the alias "Das Institut" which was planned to become a release in its own rights under the title "20 Years Too Late".

The second side is a selection of more conventional recordings under the alias "Soma". They were part of the projected release "Soma-Retard".

B1 & B2 were recent recordings of the time the compilation was made, when no decision was made, under which alias they would be released.

The tape itself was a unique recording for VORTEX, Marchiennes, France for informational use.
