Technical information: Field recordings were made on Sony TCD-10 PRO2 DAT recorders with Sony (ECM-MS5 stereo electret condenser) and Sennheiser MKH816 directional RF condenser michrophones. Some early recordings were made using a Sony Walkman WMD6C cassette recorder and Sennheiser (ME88 directional condenser) microphone.

Material used: Sounds for this album are compiled from the author's library of stereo recordings of natural ambiences and mono and stereo recordings of individual species.
