"Pauline Oliveros, then Director of the Center for Music Experiment (CME) at UCSD, invited Tudor and CIE to be in residence from January 25 to February 7, 1977. After scouting local markets for potential sculptures, Rainforest IV was mounted in the CME space. This binaural recording was made on February 2. During their residency the group also went on field recording expeditions to the Anza Borrego Desert and whale watching.""Binaural recording: please use headphones."
