Because of the greed and naive ways of man it grew to an enourmous poisoning energy, strong enough to awake the awful dead from the ground. Turning its torment to the living, slowly it destroyed man of functions!!! Mind, energy, and emotions all faded away from the world, yet never did the sickness allow anything to slip away into the realms of peaceful death! Mutated "life" is all that remains.
