Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1979

Label: Chevron

'Rumor has it' that Donna Summer wanted to be a singer from the age of ten. She landed her first professional engagement as a member of 'Hair' when it was performed in Munich, Germany. It was while working as a backing vocalist in a recording session in Munich that she was spotted by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, who begun to put her singing talent before the public on disc.

Dee Dee Smith, herself no mean a Disco Lady, sings on this record ten of Donna's own hits as her acknowledgment of the talent of Queen of the Disco.
