All vocals are sung by David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes except 'Mistreated' which is sung by David Coverdale alone.
The album was recorded during November 1973, and as with 'Machine Head' we went to Montreux, Switzerland and used the Rolling Stones mobile unit.
The Engineer was Martin Birch assisted by Tipani, George and Paul, and the album was devised and produced by Deep Purple. Once again we thank Claude Nobs for his help and vitality, and the people of Montreux for their hospitality.
