Tracks 1 to 10 were recorded November 1981 at Cottage Music, Spenge/Westfalen and in January 1982 at IC Studio, Winsen/Aller. Previously released on the LP Unmodern.
Tracks 11 and 12 were recorded at TonCooperative Hannover, previously released on the 7" single Der Sandman / Baggersee.
Tracks 13 to 16 were recorded as a demo at TonCooperative Hannover in February 1981.
Tracks 17 to 20 were recorded November 1981 at Cottage Music, Spenge/Westfalen.Tracks 17 to 19 were selected to be published on a 7" on Spargel Schallplatten (Lalala 6). Due to financial problems only 3 testpressings were printed. Track 20 is from the same recording session.
Track 21 was recorded in November 2008 and newly mixed in Studio M7, Hannover.
