"Punk Rocks for Kids Who Can't Skate" was originally available on Spotify in spring of 2018, and later available for free download on Destructo Disk's bandcamp site in December of 2018. The compilation album got a CD pressing after Sockhead Records formed in late 2019. Pre-orders went up for sale that December and all orders came with an official lyric zine. The triple gatefold digipak was released on January 2, 2020 as the 2nd physical release by Sockhead Records (Catalogue #SHR-002). Limited to 100. Only sold at Destructo Disk shows and thru the band themselves at sockhead.bandcamp.com/merch

The inside of the gatefold has all of the band members' headshots and zodiac signs, and their slogan "Subliminal messaging doesn't work" can be seen on the second spine of the CD case
