Album Info

Release Date: 2021-05-03

Label: Sockhead Records

This is the first official vinyl release by Destructo Disk. Funded on Kickstarter in late 2020, this compilation album is limited to 500 foil-stamped/numbered records on Red/Magenta+Yellow/Violet color-in-color/2-color splatter 12" vinyls. The band named this color scheme the "Death Pact" variant. A golden hype sticker is located on the bottom left of the album cover, and the words "FIRST PRESSING" are located dimly on the lower left back cover. Tony Hawk's autograph is also on the back of the record jacket.

The record was re-designed for vinyl by Destructo Disk and pressed by Furnace MFG in Alexandria, VA. It features a colored lyric insert with album backstory, thank-you's, and other info. The record was independently distributed by Destructo Disk and Sockhead Records.

The first 80 records were given to Kickstarter backers who pre-ordered the album. Only 200 of the vinyls were put up for sale on the Sockhead Records bandcamp merch page ( https://sockhead.bandcamp.com/merch ). The rest of the records were saved for live shows and sold at local record stores.

This vinyl pressing features the hidden track "Akira Toryiama (please don't sue us)" at the end of Side DD. This song was written and recorded at the first Destructo Disk practice in 2015; it is the first Destructo Disk recording.
