Back in the 60's, the very first fiddle albums that I listened to were by DeWayne Wear and Mutt Poston on Rural Rhythm.
I Always loved the name of that record company. Living on a farm, this was a cool concept, Rural Rhythm. It's like farm and fiddle.
Now, forty some years later here I am playing with the Lonesome River Band on the same Rural Rhythm label. Yes, the very same label that recorded those great Hoe Down fiddle albums many years ago. This fiddle collection contains many of those solid fiddling gems from Mutt Poston and DeWayne Wear. Thirty wonderful fiddle standards are here and performed with great feeling and passion.
