Album Info

Release Date: 1986

Label: Tank Records

Self released by Dezerter's own label Tank Records. Paper label on both sides of black cassette. Pro-printed thick cardstock sleeve with track listing handwritten on the back side.

There are at least three versions of this tape: one with a black cover (earlier first version), another with a white cover (later second version, same design as the black one with colors reversed), and a bootleg reissue released by QQRYQ Tapes (white cover).

"Kapele C.C.C.P" means bands from Soviet Russia. A university student smuggled a tape containing mostly unidentified, weird punk/new wave recordings from the USSR, and members of Dezerter, greatly interested in the material, decided to release a split tape with the Soviet recordings.

Dezerter's side was recorded at the Hybrydy Club in Warsaw, sometime in 1985.

Side B is a compilation of various Soviet punk/new wave/experimental bands. According to the book "Warschauer Punk Pakt" by Alexander Pehlemann (Ventil Verlag, Germany, 2023), there are 2 Russian bands on B side: Автоматические Удовлетворители and ДК
