"21 year old northern NSW singer songwriter Diana Ah Naid burst onto the scene with her striking self made CD that featured the Triple J discovered song "I Go Off" that has subsequently been released as a single and hit the national Top 40 on the Mds distributed ORiGiN label. The homespun album was given a wprl pver by renowned producer Graham 'Buzz' Bidstrup (Gangajang/Angels) adding instrumentation and re-recording vocals to bring out the best in Ah Naid's powerful vocals and songs. The album comprises more confronting guitar vocal performances like "I Go Off" as well as powerful drums, bass and guitar tracks coloured with variety of instruments including vibraphone, sax and trumpet, tablas, loop and fuzzy electric guitar. The overall impression the album creates is a diverse range of edge musical styles with cutting edge self-effacing lyrics. Diana Ah Naid is a singer to be reckoned with and a songwriter of great originality and honesty bound to be one of the major Australian music discoveries for the nineties.... and she does go off!"
