Released in a clamshell box (called a 'Digibox' per hype-sticker) that includes:
- a 5-panel Digipak with clear trays (2nd and 4th panel from left to right) for the "Cubed" album and a 5-track bonus CD; a 24-page booklet with lyrics glued to the middle panel.
- a special cube to fold

The catalog number 'A 114' is printed on the back sleeve (box, Digipak), 'A114' is printed on the spine (box, Digipak).
Track durations do not appear on the release.

The artist promoted this release as the 'Black Edition' while the standard release was promoted as 'White Edition'.

Cubed was recorded and produced 2008-2009 in Hawaii Studio Reutlingen and several hotel rooms, one of these hotel rooms was designed in the shape of a living cube and inspired us to create the Cubed concept.
