This disc contains Dolby Atmos content encoded with Dolby® TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus™. Dolby Digital Plus is a highly efficient codec employed for today's digital delivery. Dolby TrueHD provides 100% lossless audio performance. You can select either codec from Home menu of the disc.
This Dolby Atmos demonstration disc can be played back through an existing Blu-ray Disc™ player that is fully compliant with current Blu-ray™ specifications. To properly pass the Dolby Atmos audio to a Dolby Atmos compatible A/V receiver, connect the Blu-ray player to the AVR via HDMI® and set it to audio bitstream out.
To unlock the full potential of Dolby Atmos playback, either Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, which project sound upward to the ceiling, or standard ceiling-mounted speakers should be used to reproduce the height layer of sound above the listener.
