ABOUT THIS MUSIC
At the CPB radio meetings in Washington last spring, there was considerable interest expressed for the production of a record with 60/30 second versions of serious music to be used as bridges in themselves or as beds for promotional and public service announcements. The problem, then, in realizing these short versions was to treat them fairly conservatively so as not to conflict greatly with announce overlays, yet interestingly enough so that the pieces might stand by themselves. For the most part I think this has been accomplished, with the possible exception of the Bach and Handel music. It was difficult to keep these pieces out of the "display" category. Some, obviously, were done with half speed recording techniques which will account for the interesting "virtuoso" sound of these pieces.

This is the eleventh record to be issued by the ELECTROSONIC STUDIO. We are always interested in your comments and suggestions. Remember that previous record releases are available on tape to public radio and television facilities at $6.00 per copy.
