"Untitled". . . not a very imaginative title for Instant Production Music, Volume 12. A "cop out" maybe, from the tedious task of trying to name selections properly.
Actually, the pieces are untitled because of your suggestions and advice. Many of you feel that naming the selections may dictate only one particular use of the music. Titling the pieces "clouds the mind," you have said. You would rather judge a piece of music as appropriate and suitable or not appropriate without having a title interfere with or influence your decision.
I agree! I played several pieces for a test group of production people. What was heard and seen in the music was so varied as to suggest, indeed, that titling these pieces would tend to limit usage.
Here, then, are twelve selections which I hope you will find useful in production. You may find that many of the pieces are a few seconds shorter than the times listed. That is because every last bit of "overhang" was taken into consideration in our timings. You'll find, to, edit points for shortening many of the selections.
