alongside the four trees that stand strong on the road of my
childhood home, we will grow. at some point, the pains, and
difficulties experienced throughout this moment in time that
we chose to capture will fade into a simple acknowledgment of
the place we were in at the time. by that point we will become
those trees, we will shift and we will move. yet by each others
sides we will stand tall, and strong ,and we will grow without
being alone. i have made mistakes, we all have, and we all will
continue to. the people you hold close to you, the ones you feed
the ducks with, and smoke your first cigarette with, will watch
these mistakes occur and they will help you move forward. and
in return, you will commit yourself entirely to the patience
and effort that moving forward requires.

run away from home, break your door handle, lose your phone,
forget your earphones on the bus, consume this however you need
to. it’s yours as much as it is ours.

four trees is about learning to grow, its about accepting love
into your life, its about never fearing who you were or who you
will become.
