Struggle isn’t new, but these days struggle feels universal. Double Gainer was formed through the current struggle of isolation and learning to be alone. Made up of members of various CT based bands – Posture & the Grizzly, The Most, Tri State Era, and more – this project was originally just a cathartic release between friends. As the music came together, the band took shape and grew into something much more than an isolation project. Such Is Life blends early-aughts songwriting, soaring vocals, and distortion-drenched guitars to create a catchy, heart-wrenching sound all their own.
