INDUCE THE PRODUCTION OF ALPHA AND THETA WAVES IN THE HUMAN CERE-
BRAL CORTEX FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELAXATION AND INSPIRATION. THE
RESULT OF 5 YEARS OF SOUND THERAPY RESEARCH.

Dear Auditory Cortex,
The enclosed tape is the result of five years of experi-
mental research into sound frequency and music
therapy and their effect on Human Conciousness [sic].
Using specifically modulated wave forms in the Alpha
and Theta wave frequencies (Alpha: 7-13-HZ/
Theta: 3.5-7 HZ) and their harmonic multiples, it is
possible through a sympathetic response of the brain
to produce these same frequency ratios. Extensive
research has shown that different brainwave rhythm
patterns are coincident with definite states of mind;
Alpha waves with states of pleasant relaxation, tran-
quility, and well-being; Theta waves with states of
reflective creativity, intuitive leaps, and imaginative
inspiration. I have used multiple variations of the
Alpha and Theta wave frequencies, phasing the wave
forms through the 3.5-13 HZ range in three ways:
A.) Within the harmonic structure of the voices
themselves.
B.) Within the interaction of one voice with
another.
C.) Within the stereo configuration between the
right and left speakers. (therefore it is important to
listen with good stereo separation).
For the best results, listen with good headphones
or well separated speakers, in a relaxed environment,
with the lights out and eyes closed.
