The full Basie Band is heard on 5 tracks (A2, A4, B1, B2, B5) with Eddie Vinson guesting on alto saxophone. All other tracks are small group performances in trio (tracks B4, B6) or quartet formation (tracks A1, A3, A5, B3) by Count Basie and members of his rhythm section. On track B3 Eddie Vinson joins in on alto saxophone.
