Modern Funk Fest was started in 2014 by one of the genre's brightest stars, Brian Ellis, in his native San Diego. It then moved northward to LA and now, on the heels of its third installment in San Francisco at Elbo Room on September 17th, 2015, we bring you an exclusive limited edition mixtape featuring Eddy Funkster (Funkmosphere/MoFunk Records) and B. Cause (4OneFunk), featuring a plethora of unreleased modern funk heaters and dusty boogie gems from the 80's.
