Over a dinner at Waltons Restaurant, London, in January 1975, Edna O'Brien talked extensively of her life as a writer with conversation ranging from close friendships, including the late Sean Kenny, to gratitude for an uobringing which gave her, 'A fierce determination to escape'. As the meal proceeds a fascinating and informative picture is built up of this writer, her passions, influences and aspirations.

This is a later issue with the 1979 and later address attached either as a sticker on the back of the cover insert - or on a photocopied sleeve with the address sticker obscuring the prior address on the inner flap of the cover.
