Released in a custom cardboard sleeve.
The sleeve consists of three parts: an external o-card slipcase with printing on the inside, an internal 6-page j-card that aids in creating a box with the o-card and with the flap sitting on the outside, and the CD is stored loose in an unusually shaped die-cut 4-page folder with a tab that wedge against the box.

Dreams in the Desert was realized in 2001 at the Bowling Green State University Electroacoustic Studios and in the composer’s home studio in Bowling Green (Ohio, USA), and premiered on November 8, 2001 during the 20th EuCuE concert series at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, Concordia University in Montréal (Québec). Thanks to Pauline Oliveros for Deep Listening guidance and Michael Thompson, Ian Chuprun, and Adrian Moore for recording assistance.

Arturo was realized in 1998 in the Electroacoustic Studios of The University of Birmingham (England, UK) and premiered on October 23, 1998 during the First Symposium on Music and Computers at the Ionian University in Corfu (Greece). Recordings of Arturo were made in the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI) studios at the University of North Texas, Denton (Texas, USA) in August 1997, engineered by Michael Thompson. Thanks to Arturo for visiting, Laura Romberg for support, and Jonty Harrison for compositional guidance.

Hastening Toward the Half Moon was realized in 2004 at the studios of New Adventures in Sound Art in Toronto, Canada and at the composer’s home studio in Bowling Green (Ohio, USA), and premiered on August 8, 2004 during the Octophonic Concert of the Sound Travels Festival of Sound Art at St Andrew-by-the-Lake Church on Toronto Island (Canada). Recordings were made at the Bowling Green State University Electroacoustic Studios, engineered by Mark Bunce. The piece was commissioned by New Adventures in Sound Art. Thanks to Darren Copeland for spatialization assistance and to Douglass Bielmeier, Nicole Carroll, Gregory Cornelius, Matthew McCabe, Joshua Plocher, Bryan Stanbridge, and Paul Thomas who contributed the piece’s source material. Hastening Toward the Half Moon was awarded a Selection at the Pierre Schaeffer Competition of Electronic Music (Pescara, Italy, 2005).

Backroads was realized in 2002 at the composer’s home studio in Bowling Green (Ohio, USA) and premiered on September 13, 2002 during Rien à voir (12) concert series presented by Réseaux at Espace GO in Montréal (Québec). The piece was commissioned by Réseaux des arts médiatiques. Thanks to Jean-François Denis, Gilles Gobeil, and Robert Normandeau for support and inspiration.

Threads was realized in 1998 at the Electroacoustic Studios of The University of Birmingham (England, UK) and premiered on November 13, 1998 during the 19th EuCuE concert series at Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, Concordia University in Montréal (Québec). Thanks to Ian Chuprun and all the BEAST folks for their support.

Stumbling Dance was realized in 1998-99 at the Electroacoustic Studios of The University of Birmingham (England, UK) and premiered on October 29, 1999 at the Finalist Concert of the III Concurso International de Música Electroacustica de São Paulo at Teatro Laura Abrahão in Brazil.

Listening Beyond… was realized in 2007 at the Electroacoustic Studio of the Center for Computation & Technology, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge (LA, USA), and premiered on December 3, 2007 during the High Voltage concert in the Recital Hall at Louisiana State University. The piece was commissioned by Louisiana State University’s Center for Computation & Technology.
