On the April 17th 2024 I collaborated with The Vinyl Factory and Vinyl Alliance to do a tour of the Vinyl Factory pressing plant in Hayes.
I assembled a group of artists that included Damsel Elysium, Charisse C, 1UP, David Chen, Eugene Angelo, Kirollus, Tash LC and Yaw Evans. They all have different disciplines, but we used the central question of what role vinyl can play in their practices today, and in the future.

During the tour they got to press their own coloured vinyl of Yaw Evans remix of Elijah & Jammz 'Start With Why' originally done for their 'Remix The Ting' challenge in 2023.

There were 20 coloured vinyl made for the artists on the factory tour, with an etch on the flip with Elijah, Vinyl Factory and Vinyl Alliances logo's. 20 Black Test Presses were also made to show the process of creating a vinyl from scratch and those will be kept for archival purposes.

These will not go on sale, but function as a continuation of the 'Make The Ting' open source album concept, and as a reminder that 'it takes a village' to make records happen.
