"i put this blog up the other day but toned it down to sound less like a nutter:

hello, just to let you know, the promos that were sent out of the album
are not the album that is coming out in the shops. when i heard the
promos, i felt like the mastering had softened the sound of the album,
and lost some of the arrangements, so i took the raw mixes to get
re-mastered. i think the new one is more honest and i think the promo
is a lesser version.
please keep this in mind if you've got hold of a promo copy. i'm not
saying you have to go out and buy the proper one but just keep in mind that it
exists.xxx"
