Erik SATIE reste, aujourd'hui encore un véritable mystère, une
énigme dans le paysage musical. Dénigré par certains, porté au
pinacle par d'autres, toujours est-il que ce musicien si singulier
et hautement original fut respecté et admiré de compositeurs
aussi "institutionnels" que Maurice RAVEL ou Claude DEBUSSY.

Erik Satie remains, even today, a real mystery, an enigma in the
musical landscape. Denigrated by some, praised to the skies by
others, the fact remains that this musician, so singular and highly
original, was respected and admired by such "establishment"
composers as Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy.
