This recording was made in Studio "A" of Sound Engineering Associates of Philadelphia. The recording was done in two separate mastering sessions on May 28-29 1962.

Neuman U-67 and Vouge 988 microphones, in conjunction with a custom built tape recorder, were used throughout the sessions. Aside from a slight amount of added reverberation, to give the recording overall warmth, the recording was made essentially flat with on boost or attenuation of the total frequency spectrum, thereby, (in the opinion of Sound Engineering Associates) giving the highest possible fidelity and naturalness of sound.
