Miniature & Sea is a short-run object-based release with associative packaging. This composition was produced from the manipulation of mechanical music boxes along with audio gathered from an optical film reader. Each CD is housed in a metal tin with an individually altered music box, acrylic framed title, numbered insert, miniature photocopy collage, piece of optical film, & bubble wrap. Each one of these limited pieces is a unique instrument, as each homemade music box was disassembled and altered differently to produce entirely different musical results.
