Fable Dust is guitarist, composer and filmmaker Niels Duffhues making and performing instrumental guitar music. His compositions have a filmic and minimalistic quality. He puts down a theme and improvises with the chords and melodies. He's a real soundmaker, using alternate tunings, sound effects, live sampling and field recordings. The music of Fable Dust is direct, hypnotic and deeply imaginative, like a technicolor landscape in sound.
