Recorded in 1972.
The first edition released in 1979 (see Faust - Extracts From Faust Party 3) has a white border around the edges of the front and back sleeve.

This release is the second edition without the white border, and with the following text on the back sleeve "Second impression April 1980". Black vinyl.
There is also a clear vinyl version - Faust - Extracts From Faust Party 3
Side A has red blank label and plays at 33 ⅓ RPM, side B has green blank label and plays at 45 RPM, as opposed to the first edition which has a green label on the 33 ⅓ RPM side and a red label on the 45RPM side.
