This split release brings together two intensely unique electronic artists from two disparate corners of the globe. Fern's side comprises a suite named "(A)live in Isolation" - a glacial display of synth drones and ambient textures produced without the use of a DAW. On side B, Yu presents a disorienting mix of what he does best: glitched freak-outs and abrasive beats in one big slab of meticulously controlled sonic chaos.

Fern is an ambient project based in Sweden, which specialises in 'organismic and electronic soundscapes beyond the traditional linear timeline of music.' 'Abstract Safari' is a two-piece composition of dense, noisy drone, composed on analogue hardware without the use of any digital software.
