These excerpts from 1918-1920 Phonotype recordings of the Barber of Seville are of the parts which feature Fernando De Lucia singing the role of Count Almaviva. The other parts of the opera which are known to have been recorded but were not included in this release for various reasons are marked as "Not included" in the track listing.

The release includes a 7 page typewritten set of notes about the artist, this performance of the Barber of Seville and the source Phonotype recordings.
This release was reviewed in the Gramophone Magazine in September 1973.
