Filipa Pais returns to the records eighteen years later, with the same voice as always! This record is born from Filipa Pais' love and respect for the Azores, its people, its land and sea! And the freedom she feels whenever she is there. The friends she has made over the last thirty years were extremely important in the making of this record. Friends with whom she contacts almost daily. On an evening when Zeca Medeiros launched her this challenge: why not record an album of Azorean music?!

Tiago Rosas had the art, as on so many other occasions, to make it happen. José Moças, remained calm in the background until it was time to act. He came in with his usual 'wake those who are sleeping and cheer those who are absent' energy.
