Release Date: 2003-04-22

Label: 5 Minute Walk Records

® Is Reese's footnote symbol, Ø is Keith's footnote symbol and & is the symbol for the word "And"
(If no info is given about where and when a song was recorded, assume it was recorded in out basement in late 2002 in Colorado.)

1. Ø (A B-side from when we recorded Five Iron Frenzy 2: Electric Boogaloo, 2001)
2. ® (These were the first lyrics that Dennis write when he first wrote music for "Ugly Day" I wish I would have kept them, because everyone gets sad when we play "Ugly Day". You are all a bunch of whiney babies.)
3. Ø (A B-side from the Our Newest Album Ever sessions in 1997. Originally released only on the Brad Is Dead 7".)
4. ® (This is embarrassing. We used to test out songs on crowds before the lyrics were done. This, as you can tell, is the last time we ever did this. I'm basically just singing gibberish. Our mentality was, "Hey who can understand Reese anyways?"
* This was recorded live at The Scream in the Bay Area, CA on 3/1/97.)
5. Ø (A B-side from All The Hype The Money Can Buy. Recorded in 2000.)
6. Ø (This is a really old song, probably from late 1995. When were looking through old demos to make this record we found this song, and we decided to redo it, so we re-recorded it in our basement and my bedroom.)
® (Andy sang on this song because he sounds tougher than Leatha.)
7. Ø (Recorded in our basement and bedrooms in 1995. We accidentally forgot to record a verse, silly us. This was originally released on a comp called Punk Goes Ska on Stiff Dog Records.)
® (Special thanks to Glen Ballew for recording this song and the other two, so we could have our first demo.)
See the album Upbeats and Beatdowns for lyrics.
8. Ø (Recorded in our basement and bedrooms in 1995. Originally released on the It's Funny But Not Very Creative 7", which was the first recording we ever released.
See the album Upbeats and Beatdowns for lyrics.
9. Ø (This is a really old demo version of this song. We recorded our very first demo in New Mexico in late 1995 with Joey Belviolle, but it was never released. This recording is from those sessions)
® The demo was never released because the guy who owned the studio went out of business, and then disappeared with our master tapes before we could mix them down. It cost us $2000. $2000 is a lot of food.
See the album Upbeats and Beatdowns for lyrics.
10. Ø (Recorded in New Mexico for our first demo which was never released.)
® Thank God it wasn't. This song sufferers from Suction.
11. Ø (Recorded in New Mexico for our first demo which was never released.)
® I think this was a scratch vocal track. Or am I really stupid. Maybe a little bit of both.
12. Ø (This was a B-Side from when we recorded All The Hype That Money Can Buy in 2000.)
® This is some serious stuff here, kids. You should really not ask us top play any of the songs on this album or we will kill you to death)
13. Ø (A B-side from the Five Iron Frenzy 2: Electric Boogaloo sessions. Recorded in 2001.)
® (Dennis, Keith and I wrote the lyrics for this. My singing is horrible, but THEY made me sing like that.)
15. Ø (A symbolic adventure in short movements)
16. ® (This song really focuses on the songwriting and singing abilities of Sonnie and Micha.)
Ø (Yes, it sounds like there is a girl singing, but NO! All sining was done by Micah and Sonnie.)
17. ® (An ode to The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.)
Give me back my sndwich!
18. ®(Keith used to only eat 4 things - meat, bread, cheese, and candy. Then I made him go to this Chinese restaurant with me and he started eating vegetables. Now, he's gone way overboard and WON'T eat meat art all, and he goes to all these war protests. And he burns incense an wears a mumu. Ok, maybe it's just a dress.)
Ø (Hey, I look good in that dress)
19. ® (Andy screamed "Ahh, my face". He's the funniest guy. Dennis sang the lead.)
20. ® (The vocals for this were recorded at Micah's apartment)
21. ® (The vocals for this were recorded at Micah's apartment)
23. ® (The vocals for this were recorded in the hallway where Reese lives)
24. ® (Andy and I were trying to emulate our heroes at Longmont Potion Castle. It's kind of funny... if that's all there is.)
Ø (Thea is a good friend of ours. We played a joke on her. Prank phone calls are illegal kids.)
25. ® (The vocals for this were recorded at Micah's apartment)
26. ® (The vocals for this were recorded at Micah's apartment)
27. ® (Andy sang AND played drums on this one, but not at the same time.)
28. Ø (This song is self-explanitory)
30. Ø (A song about our favorite day of the year.)
31. ® (I know you think this song is making fun of the south tm, but it's not, It is autobiographical. It's about the one time I accidentally drank out of my cousin Cleatus's spittoon and got cancer of the esophagus and died.
32. ® (This was originally performed by Andy in his old band - Andy an the Chipmunks.)
33. ® (This song is stupid)

The title Cheeses of Nazareth, is by no means intended to be sacrilegious. It is intended to be comical, and we chose the name to satirize not Christ, but Christian culture in America. Although many of the songs on this album seem to lack in Christian content, we hope that our lives do reflect the love of Jesus Christ and the changes that he has made within us. if you were expecting a sermon, I would like to suggest attending any weekly church service in any of the millions of churches worldwide. They are usually free.

Godspeed,
Reese Roper
