C22. Eight untitled blasts across two sides of a green shelled tape with torn label. Black and white printed J-card. Clear case. Hand-numbered in an edition of 13.

After a long courtship, and the release of a collaborative album called "Shame" in August 2019 (nehertzberg.bandcamp.com/album/shame), Nicholas Hertzberg and Delfin Lopez have ditched their individualisms and have gone all-in with their new project: Flesh Collar.

Completely improvised over a two hour session and cut down to just 22 minutes, the harsh noise that the duo conjure here on their debut EP is nothing short of fierce, diverse, and disturbing.

By utilizing feedback loops, DIY hand-built instruments, guitar pedals, cassette tapes, broken mixers, and shattered vocal cords, Flesh Collar pays tribute to some of the Japanoise greats of the past (Hanatarash, C.C.C.C., Masonna) and attempt to pave the way for a whole new era of violent sounds in the doomed 2020 decade.
