"Promessa is the debut EP from the new collaborative project by Forlate and DYX/Вигилант (Vigilant). The album was written and recorded during the quarantine in 2020 and 2021, with the final touches added afterward. The music reflects the authors' mood during the lockdown, at times suffocating in isolation and at others dreamy and adventurous, yearning to escape the confines of their living rooms and explore the far reaches of the earth.

With tribal rhythms, dub textures, and intricate sound design, the EP is distinguished by its unusual sample sources, adding unpredictability to the music. Promessa is an album that rewards close listening, with intricate layers of sound and rhythm that reveal themselves with each new listen.
