The 1st pressing has a gold lining to the box. Brighter pink cover, compared with the first pressing. It was advertised for reissue in September 1976, September 1977, May 1978 and May 1979. It was advertised with the new R- numbers, but the labels are unchanged, as was often the case (the expected numbers are R-01197, R-01198, R-01199 and R-01200). A version with the same S- numbers and a green cover also exists. Not issued on other formats.
Hinged cardboard box, covered in black with a pink, white & back slick attached to front. Harpsichord image. The box has raw cardboard lining.

Four discs, sides numbered One to Eight.
Discs each have light brown & cream Record Society "herald" labels, with black text and white perimeter text. Short/squat header font, no italics, all text bold.
Each label has its own catalogue number (S-6443, S-6444, S-6445 & S-6446). "S/6443-6" in booklet, "S/6443-4-5-6" on the box spine.
Discs are pressed using plates originating from France.
The booklet has no address for the club.
